About Virtual Field Day
A "field day" is an educational event where producers and other interested clientele have the opportunity to get firsthand experience with a variety of subjects. These subjects include new cultivars and varieties, more efficient ways to manage resources and strategies to protect their crops and the environment, and finally, innovative ways to improve profits.
Field days are often held at the UF/IFAS Research and Education Centers and County Extension Offices or on cooperating farms.
The Virtual Field Day extends the experience of these workshops, allowing new visitors to experience the field day for the first time and giving attendees access to current greenhouse and field research on a wide variety of topics from field days throughout the state.
